The provison of education to children is a tough and at times thankless task and it is no surprise that teaching staff find themselves under presure.

Marshland staff have many years experience of providing school children with information on health and community safety subjects and running events large and small for children. Viist the testimonials and staff profile pages for more information.

Marshland can help by providing:-

Direct input to classes or assemblies on community related subjects that are either outside the normal teaching sphere or would be accepted more readily by pupils from a ' new' person rather than the teacher that they see everyday. The input can be lecture style, use drama or playlets or use learner partcipation as required by the School or the circumstances.

Organise events at school for pupils to participate such as a safety day or an anti-bullying day.

Provide training input to Teachers/ Governers/Support Staff to improve their awareness about specific issues or to provide them with non teaching skills such as dealing with violent/abusive visitors to school premises.

Session Plans, child protection, safety measures, risk assessments etc are all produced to the standards required by the LEA.

Although most of the suggested input would not require a CRB check to be undertaken all of our staff would be CRB checked if there was a requirement by either the nature of the work to be undertaken or the at the request of the school.

All of our staff currently have CRB certificates in relation to activities rcently understaken with vulnerable people.

Assistance from Marshland can also be evaluated to provide excellent evidence of your schools actions for Ofsted or other visits.
